Service Level Matters
A minor service normally focuses on essential routine maintenance and the items needed to keep the vehicle operating reliably between larger service intervals. The exact work depends on the manufacturer schedule, mileage, age and previous maintenance history.
A major service is more comprehensive and may include additional scheduled maintenance items and deeper checks where the vehicle’s service interval requires them. The workshop should first confirm what your specific vehicle is due for rather than assume every vehicle needs the same package.
If an inspection identifies repair work outside the scheduled service, RMS separates those findings from the service itself, explains what is urgent and what can be planned, and confirms the next step with you before additional work proceeds.
